Mary Brandes

Senior Associate Attorney

Mary joins the firm with extensive experience in the field of family law, including mediating child custody, support, and property disputes, and representing parties in contested dissolution, post-judgment, and appellate proceedings.  Always responsive and compassionate, Mary considers the unique needs of each client and situation; while some disputes require an aggressive approach and litigation, others can be resolved more quickly and amicably.  Whatever the challenges, Mary works closely with her clients to identify the best path forward and to achieve the best results possible.

Mary graduated from the University of Michigan Law School and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois.  Upon completing her education, she worked as a litigation associate with a large San Francisco law firm before concentrating her practice in family law in both California and Illinois, where she is also licensed to practice law. 

Kylie Reich

Associate Attorney

Kylie has exclusively practiced family law in the San Francisco Bay Area since her admission to the California Bar. She specializes in representing clients in all aspects of family law, including divorce, prenuptial and marital settlement agreements, child custody and visitation, property division, and support. Kylie recognizes that every family is different and every client’s situation unique, requiring a tailored approach to their matter. She encourages settlement through mediation or direct negotiation where possible, and is a strong advocate where litigation is required.

Prior to joining Sound Law Group, LLP, Kylie was an associate at DeLacey, Riebel & Shindell LLP. She is a graduate of the Santa Clara University School of Law, where she received the Witkin award for excellence in criminal law. Throughout law school, she was a judicial intern in both the family law division and drug court at the Santa Clara Superior Court. Kylie also contributed at the Katharine and George Alexander Community Law Center, where she advocated for worker’s rights.

In her free time, Kylie enjoys spending time outside hiking, running or cycling and spending time with her family and friends.
